Indelibly linked, GulfMediaMan, Ace Corporate Editions and Old Man Film can all be traced back to one guy.

Being the first in his town to gain a Scouts photographer badge, even in junior school days Ian Bennett was well into photography,

Inevitably, Ian would go on to study art and photography and join one of the north's top studios, before being enticed overseas, returning later to set up his own studio.

Known in the UK as the Mediaman, working overseas in the Middle East this naturally became Gulf Mediaman.

As Director of Operations for Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (or ACE), which was something of a mouthful, understandably Ian became referred to by clients simply as Mr ACE.

On returning to the UK Ian continued to design for his former employer, so the title stuck and Ace Corporate Editions was born. As ACE, Ian has designed and produced all types of printwork from simple news sheets to glossy brochures, magazines and hardback novels.

Now retired, Ian remains continually busy, yet no longer accepts commercial commissions or paid work of any kind. Along with OMF (Old Man Film), GMM and ACE have become not-for-profit retirement projects supporting named charities, for whom thousands of pounds have been raised and world wide awareness created.
